Jerry makes a complex insight highly entertaining, through the lens of genre fiction, and through the authentic voice of his characters. And I couldn't have asked for a better inaugural guest for Storytellers Anonymous: he's an experienced writer and editor, and a delight to talk to.

We discuss his career, where new writers go wrong (and how they could go right), the business of short stories and novels, and why the best writing advice is to be yourself.
