003 - Club Etiquette

Two friends have had a book club for a very very long time. It was mostly an excuse to drink and gossip. In January of 2016, they found renewed purpose in their sadness over the death of David Bowie. They decided to stop mucking around and actually get some reading done - from the list of books that he loved.

We thought it was a good idea to make a podcast, we could've been wrong. We are Zach, Conor, Don, Mark, Ian and Jackie and we are four friends with a mission, to make a dumb podcast. Come hang with us as you listen to conversations we'd have even if we weren't recording. Filled with topics that span from Movies to Music and of course Notes With Conor, which is sure to make you go "what". Hopefully you'll laugh at our intentional and sometimes unintentional comedy and if not, well you're probably smarter than us.

Welcome friends, to a podcast for a darker timeline. Maybe the darkest of all timelines. Definitely not one of the good timelines. Maybe it’s always been a dark timeline, maybe the Hadron collider screwed us over. Science may never know. What we do know is that we live in the void. The void, a place where a chittering mass of void crabs can infest a person suit and win the presidency. The void, a place where we're just clever enough to know that climate change is happening, but not quite clever enough to do anything about it. The void seems terrible and cruel, but it loves you, in its own ironic way.
