003 - The Member Formerly Known as a Mormon

 In this episode, we continue discussing the culture of the church and turn our focus to making the transition from leaning on your own understanding to trusting God with all your heart.There is an ongoing tug of war between our natural man and our spiritual man that creates the opposition to us trusting in God. We have a difficult time believing that God could love us because we know the ways in which we are broken. The culture of the church has spoon fed the gospel to members for so long that it trains members to lean on their own understanding instead of trusting God.What we really should understand is that we are infinite beings with infinite possibilities if we just open ourselves up to the idea of trusting God to lead us to that infinite potential.
