By 1893, they returned, having traversed over 15,000 miles—the longest continuous land journey ever recorded at that time. This captivating account details their extraordinary travels through Turkey, Persia, Turkestan, and northern China, regions largely untouched by outsiders. Their adventures include a thrilling ascent of Mount Ararat (where they, unfortunately, did not discover an ark) and a memorable encounter with the then Chinese Prime Minister.
