012 - Pt 2 The Little Maid

In Ned Franks, or The Christians Panoply, we meet Ned Franks, a one-armed Christian sailor who returns home after years at sea, only to find his sister and her son cold and indifferent towards him. They see him as a burden, but through his unwavering kindness and hard work, Ned gradually wins over the community, especially the children. Alongside his journey, we encounter a diverse cast of characters who face their own trials, including a servant girl who learns to embrace honesty and a Jewish man grappling with the realization that Jesus Christ is the Messiah.
