The charter emphasises the need for a nimble and effective peace-building body, with member states represented by their heads of state or government. Notably, the charter makes no mention of Gaza, despite the board’s mandate being limited to Gaza until the end of 2027.The Board of Peace Charter outlines the structure and function of the Board, including its Executive Board, financial provisions, legal status, and dispute resolution mechanisms. The Charter also details the process for amendments, resolutions, and dissolution of the Board. The Charter will enter into force upon ratification by three states and will be deposited with the United States.
