Despite initially believing the Mormons were “white witches,” the narrator and their partner embraced the religion, stopping their occult practises and participating in Mormon rituals, including becoming an elder and elders’ quorum president. The narrator’s life took a dramatic turn after receiving a Christian comic book from two teenage Satanists, leading them to question their beliefs and eventually join the Mormon church.In 1981, the speaker and a companion, armed with a coded card and a phrase from a druid, attempted to access the Mormon temple. Their presence caused the computer system to crash, leading to a meeting with an apostle.
