Episode 8 of of the US version of Queer as Folk is discussed: Michael deviously furthers his career while Justin innocently furthers his relationship with Brian. Brian develops a fondness for jambalaya. We witnesses Craig Taylor's sinister side. Dr David and Michael rush home from the romantic idyll to tend to an uninjured Brian. Not to be outdone, Dr David slips on his club kid clothes and heads for Babylon to lecture Brian. Patrick and Matt debate if the episode still holds up, 17 years after airing.
