If we want others to openly talk about and share insights from their Comms careers on the podcast, we felt it only right to start by sharing our own. Listen in as a fly-on-the-wall to the two of us reflecting back on the key moments in our careers, with humour, insight and advice thrown in for good measure. We hope you enjoy the very first episode of The Comms Careers Podcast. Why we launched the podcast: After a chance LinkedIn comment back in 2022 connected us, we began collaborating when we discovered our businesses, values and passions are aligned. The podcast is an exciting new offering borne out of our shared mission to support others in their Comms careers and give something back to our profession. We want it to feel inspiring and empowering to listen to, to encourage people to face their career challenges head on, pluck up the courage, believe in themselves and follow career paths that light them up, no matter how different from the ‘norm’ they may look.  About Jo: Jo Hall has a Comms career spanning 20 years which included leading organisational business change and communication projects and setting up an internal comms function as Global Head of Internal Communication.  After being made redundant, she has run her own Comms Consultancy and Coaching business since 2019.  Jo specialises in coaching comms professionals facing significant career change, dealing with Imposter Syndrome or crises of confidence.  She’s an active Fellow of the Institute of Internal Communications, being a trainer, SME, Diploma assessor & course instructor, and coaching programme lead.  She holds an MA in Internal Communication Management, is part way through writing her first book and lives in the UK, north of London, with her two children.
