10. Peggy Ward

On this month’s episode, Preston and Henry talk to Peggy Ward, lifelong saleswoman, former stand-up comic, and mother of three. She discusses how important it is to find work that not only fulfills you, but allows you to be a present parent and raise a family. Peggy spent the early part of her working years in advertising as a copywriter. After the birth of her first child, she put a pause on her career. A few years (and a second baby) later, she launched her comedy show based on the challenges of motherhood. She eventually had her third baby and continued her stand-up show for more than a decade. She now works in sales where she helps business owners market through digital and direct mail advertising.
