Is a Black nonprofit community media platform employing innovative digital and community-building strategies to engage Gen Z and Millennials across the midwest. Their primary focus areas are education, justice, business, arts & culture, and technology. Reaching over 10 million people and growing their social media audience to over 25,000 followers in their first year, they’ve created a new model for reaching Black people and Gen Z.  This episode was another live podcast event at Kinship Cafe in Kansas City, KS.  Ryan and I talk about the current state of media in regard to black culture.
