In a targeted attack involving other teens, Sasha was fatally shot, altering the trajectory of Amira’s life forever. Surrounded by grief and facing a pending trial in December, Amira opens up about holding onto Sasha’s vibrant spirit and purpose. Through the creation of the nonprofit Long Live Sasha, Amira channels her pain into empowerment.
