Det är natten mot annandag jul. Klockan är strax efter ett när en 25-årig kvinna kliver av pendeltåget i Rönninge, söder om Stockholm. Hon är bara några minuter från sitt hem. Övervakningskameror fångar hennes sista kända rörelser – sedan försvinner hon.När familj och vänner nästa dag börjar leta efter henne hittar de märkliga föremål längs vägen från stationen: hörlurar, buntband och en hammare.
