The number 24 is significant, representing the 24 elders, the 24 tribes of Israel, and the 24 apostles, symbolising the redeemed covenant family of God.The 24 elders in Revelation represent the enthroned, redeemed people of God, witnessing and affirming God’s end-time plan. They are the heavenly council, interpreting visions, announcing transitions, and participating in the divine court. The elders’ presence aligns with Daniel’s vision, suggesting a connection between the two and a timeline of events centred around Nissan 24.The 24 elders in Revelation symbolise redeemed humanity, embodying the fulfilment of Passover. They witness the transition from Passover on Nissan 21 to the trumpet judgements on Nissan 24, affirming the lamb’s authority and the completion of redemption. This aligns with Daniel’s vision on Nissan 24, highlighting the elders’ role as the heavenly council.The 24 elders in Revelation represent redeemed humanity in glorified form. Amos 8:2 signifies the end of God’s mercy for Israel, marking a transition from Passover protection to unavoidable judgement. This is a significant turning point, as God will no longer “pass over” Israel’s sins, leading to covenant curses replacing covenant mercy.
