However, he's most known as being the writer of "The Dance," the hit song of musical artist Garth Brooks. This interview was originally broadcast on the radio. It was in 2011, Tony Arata and other writers had performed at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, Georgia. Days later, he made the time to check in by telephone.
