Eric Andersen is a singer-songwriter and recording artist. Since his 1965 debut album, he's recorded more than 2 dozen records. His songs have been covered by the likes of Johnny Cash, Judy Collins, Linda Ronstadt, The Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan and others. 2018 saw the release of the double CD set The Essential Eric Andersen.

Rolling Stone magazine said “Andersen is the most elegant of singers.” The New York Times called him “A singer and songwriter of the first rank."
