Onze gast van vandaag kunnen we het best omschrijven als een cinefiel want 'de film' loopt als een rode draad doorheen zijn leven. Begin jaren 80, op amper 18-jarige leeftijd was hij al een van de mede organisatoren van het filmfestival van Knokke-Heist. In 1985 richtte hij samen met Marc Punt 'Independent Films' op, waarmee ze voornamelijk Amerikaanse films distribueerden in België. Maar onze gast van vandaag is uiteraard vooral gekend als filmregisseur en de lijst van films die hij regisseerde is even lang als indrukwekkend. Films als Team Spirit, Alias, Dossier K, Zot van A & Vermist waren echte kaskrakers.
