She has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 15 years with fundraising positions in higher education, the arts and in the animal welfare areas. She has a Master's in Public Administration from UNC Charlotte and a BA in Music/French from Bishop's University. She has also completed the Nonprofit Executive Leadership program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
