#135 How to Practice Gratitude in Times of Extreme Adversity

from Change Lives Make Money: The Podcast For Online Trainers

We're living in hard times, and so it's easy to focus on the things we don't have. The gym that we don't have any more The friends we don't get to see because of social distancing The free time we had but now we have the kids at home The motivation we don't have because we're stuck inside the house The trips/plans / adventures we no longer have for the summer.     And when we start to stack up the things we DON'T have, it's pretty easy to get bummed out. Frustrated. Upset. Mad.   Where focus goes energy flows, and we can't be in two states at once. I think it's time to start stacking up the things we do have.   We're ALIVE! I'm writing you this post and you're reading it.   We own phones that connect us to our entire world at our fingertips.   We have more time at home to discover ourselves / our passions/ambitions.   We GET to spend more time with the people we live with.   We have enough money to pay for the roof that's over our heads right now.   Gratitude is the key to overcoming the weight of the coronavirus.   "Gratitude isn't a list on your phone, gratitude is a feeling that you have. Gratitude is a feeling of appreciation." - Brian Mark   Ready to Grow Your Fitness Biz?
