#135 Tom Smith (The Acacia Strain)

Welcome to this weeks episode of Heavy Metal History. My guest was guitarist of The Acacia Strain, Tom Smith. Tom came on the podcast to discuss the bands recent out put of insane proportions with a surprise full length record at the end of 2019 and the current EP’s spelling out DECAY which are eventually a part of another full length called “Slow Decay”. Tom gave me the inside scoop of all the work the band has been doing working on these records between tours and how Vincent spearheaded a lot of the concept and designs of both records. We also spend some time discussing the pandemic, BLM. We round out the conversation with the genius of David Lynch and Twin Peaks!
