They're both so unique and they've both got unrealistic hammers.

He's come around our time of he's probably going to throw a kickflip, no he flipped. You know, he's going to do a bit more solid, but Jamie Griffin might do half the amount of that solid tricks mixed with just some unbelievable tricks, which, you know, play a game of skate how you want to play it these days, especially if you want to win.
But, yeah, like, if you know Seva won first set, it would have more than likely been a totally different game of skate as well. But that's what it is. It's the luck of the Rose Shambo, it's the luck of the day, it's the luck of the game. Do you remember what the first trick was?

Yeah, you've got to be in the middle of it because, you know, I can't do it in the possible bit. I can't even say, well, I think I'm only wrapping me at all. But a 360 shove, find a piece of piss, you know. It's not a scary trick, quite an easy trick.
But there's some people that think they're doing a fucking impossible. No, that was a three shove, mate. You're both going to spin with it, but it wasn't a wrap. No, it wasn't even a round...
Yeah, we didn't get the side of the board or anything. Let's do that one again. Because they're very different tricks. And as well, mate, it's one of those things where you're tray, you're a 360 pop shove or you're free shove and you're impossible.
They're all very similar with the back foot, but not the same. But if you've got one of those dialed and not the others, more than likely someone else who you're playing has got one of those dialed and not the others. One of them just works so good with that person. It's like a nollitre, mate.
I'm pretty good at the nollitre, you know. That's one of my easy, I can throw with that first try in a game. It's just fun to be dirty, I can start with that. That's fair for me.
You can start with that. Whereas a fakey tray, sorry, a nollitre. I've had some, but I thought I was going to handle it and really be out of the nollitre. And I just can't get over it too much or there's just something that's not really really kind of like I can stomp the sharp version.
It's having that powerful switch flicking for, because obviously it's just your pupper. You've got that extra power which you can overpower and under power. It's so easy. I could even probably do it like a bigger, like a popped nollitre shove as well, get them up.
Because the nollitre is such a lovely trick, mate. It kind of floats around. You barely kind of pop anyway when you're adding it. Most nollitre are withers.
It's a really weird like conkin sort of landing as well. Everything happens. It's like a fakey tray as well. Just that thing happens and it goes down.
But it hits, it's perfect. You don't really land like 30 ones. You normally inside it. You normally predict it.
It's just making the 360 feel that connection. Yeah, but it's such a nice trick. Absolutely love it. It's one of them.
So I'll have that, you know, the shove. But someone might have the nollitre easy when a shove comes around. They're going to be spinning it. It's going to half flip every time.
Every time because they're not regulating the flatness of something. And it's hard. You're getting into something. You're trying to set a maneuver.
Then when you go back to the other one, you've got a really concentrated. You've got a really concentrated manner. Yeah, like learning it again almost. Well, it's like, you know, the nolly three shove or nolly big spin or anything like that.
If you start trying to learn the flip version of it, you know, tray and nolly big respectively. It's like you're going to be able to bounce between the two of them back to back or like session one and then hit one afterwards to find that again is near impossible. Yes. You know, unless you've got to make it a bigger board.
Maybe if you had a wider board, you think that'd help? Oh, definitely. There'd be less flipping going on. Yeah.
But then it just, yeah, I figured it just depends on the person. Some people just got that make their nolly tray easier because it's not frantic. You know, I mean, it's slowing down. That's the road.
But it's, you know, it's almost like your, your fakey tray or your, your fakey burial. Like it's so eat. If you're doing one over the other, it's so hard to get the other one kind of, you know, unless that's just a trick or choice. It's so hard to make that work.
Yeah. And they're so different as well. Super different tricks. Oh, yeah.

And, you know, you just, you just start trying different kind of boneless tricks and that sort of stuff and the kick flip one is so easy. And then you'd be doing it like over a gap, like, when you're out in the streets, just fucking about when people would be kind of impressed by it because they didn't, like, oh, how did it flip? Like, my fucking hand to this. It's just as simple as this is.
It's so easy. But they go, did you flip that? It's like, yeah, I've just grabbed the board and thrown it around. It's tasteless.
It's like, I'm a horrible trick. Really bad trick. It's like, well, I'm like, I can throw it out. It's weird.
It's like, well, fuck, fuck, one eight, you spin, spin, spin. Yes, semi-sau, whatever it is. It's like, you're just walking now. That's not the sport of skateboarding.

Start throw a boneless frontside flip out there. I can do that. I can do that. I can do it really slowly and lamely.
I can just do it like you did. But as soon as you, if they fuck up on one, which is going to be highly unlikely because they're just walking on their board, landing on it. But as soon as you get it in, turn around and do a switch shield mate, you're fucking in. I always thought that in those sort of games.
When people are throwing stupid shit like that, it's like, as soon as it comes to me, I'm going to throw a switch shield out or a switch shovel or something. Because it's like, I can find, you know, I can do those ones fairly consistently under a little bit of pressure. It's like those two letters right there. If you're walking on your board, you don't have a switch of and you don't have a switch shield.

And he does like a one foot, like one, you know, front foot on the trucks or back foot on the back trucks, one AE reaver or twin two or three six, like all the way around.
Yes. Eric Bragg, not even the referee calls it a no. I can remember maybe I'm going to say in the first three or four original battle of the barracks. Well, you know, there's every, every, you know, first few, there was always a weird trick.
Some of them got banned, you know, the moment when you're shit, whatever. One of these two tricks that come out in several games was that trick, but just as a 180. So a front foot like nose pivot with your back foot off put it on. And that was allowed.
You know, these are the bigger names doing these things. And this trick was only done, you know, one pivot, one way, one foot or the other. So he's only just went and pivoted another 180 on top of that. And someone's saying, no, that don't count.
You can't do that. Two teapods as well. He's a good skater. Yeah.

They pop their board. It's still a trick. And I can't remember what it was, but I'm pretty sure he had a name for it. So it's not something he's probably just made up on, you know, and it's one of those things I was on previous game escapes where someone has done a trick that no one really knows if it's legal or not but it hasn't been specifically banned and no one's calling it and sometimes the person will do a shitty version of that trick because they don't know what it is but they're not fine you know but it's all right come along get a one foot reaver and then maybe half a second later pull the other half off they're gonna give them on defense and fair enough and and that sometimes will how you got play those things really because there's no definition of how to do that trick yeah exactly mate i remember Chris Colgan against Mike Valle one the first thing we did a handstand like fucking indie or something and Chris Colgan you know he's he's a good skater he's a you know he's a good athlete you know i mean he's a strong bloke so he did pull off some sort of handstand he did get out there and it didn't you know probably didn't do a flip or whatever the rotation that exactly that Valle did but he was really watching it you can't just ref your own shit really you know yeah there's a judge for a reason right yeah you can't just ref it so i did it so well no i'm a second mate that's just a fucking bullshit okay mate you're lucky that i'm allowed yeah and and you're lucky and Chris Colle sort of sunny next to canal beautiful and they had a shot next to it i'm trying to think of the name of it it was it's not like a super famous one but went in there the guy was pretty cool yeah they had the classic menu in front of your mate from yep lovely you know from Percy to double outbast it and you kind of yeah you know you know you got to find out where you are yeah exactly and it's like well and then what kind of what do you want you know do you want some hazy jjord something you know cheese you know what what do you want you know what flavors are you looking for exactly so i kind of i think i picked the silver haze or something like that to begin with yeah and it was nice nice nice and crystally um smoke beautifully and it just gave you that nice hum it was yeah it's probably the next day the Hawaiian haze was probably had a little bit more about it nice mind me a little bit more of a bit a wee back home a little bit more fruity mate or yeah a little bit more fruity yeah which was which was super nice but that's it we're just going to just go to a place i was drinking halves and bottles behind you can so you know you're not kind of throwing down pints you just got half in you just rolling throughout the day just keeping that keep a nice level and that's a really like i i love the combination of a beer in it i think i think a lot of people do get intimidated by it i think most people go like fucking out like but as long as you understand it's like don't let one of them i mean there's gonna be a time in a night when one moves pass yeah you know it happens happens when you last night we were up and a few beers and the smoke starts to win because it's like i don't i don't need any more beer in me so i can just you know that's just how it is but there might be like where you're going like actually i think i need a little bit of a genius a little bit more here yeah so i might just stick on a beers now i might have a little dupe around the corner but i won't put as much in it and i'm just you don't know you don't know so yeah the Hawaiian haze was really good that's the second day we got that from i fucked that was that from that was like uh that was kadinsky's so that's one of the um the big chain kind of coffee shops they're still legit independent kind of things but there's a few there's a few i'm knocking about yeah definitely that one was just off of dam Square you kind of like cut through whether like the shopping mall kind of bit is yeah got my donals and all that sort of stuff there's a little cut through there went in there but because you can't smoke backy and we together in the coffee shops and they didn't have the free kind of random shit mix you know whatever that is yeah so we just rolled it and kind of left it just at it somewhere else you know i mean i think part bench you know that lovely live screen as well me oh nice double scoop you gotta do it you gotta do it yeah it was nice and then the third day we went to um place right near our hotel so it's right for like Rembrandt Park and that was like a proper like because this is like west Amsterdam west so this is like 15 minutes out with the town by tram yeah and really nice area really nice it was a real coffee shop yeah it was a it wasn't it wasn't like branded or anything like that like they're really cool it's really nice in there and everything but it was uh it was a real coffee shop yeah yeah everyone was just enjoying themselves it was it was chill it's in the morning as well so you can see the true stoners are out yep and uh yeah got that and went to the Rembrandt Park and just had a little look at some crisps with me mate that's nice that's crisp with me we got these waffley sort of shit things which when you first had him you're going to wee pick on crisps but by the bag we changed our mind that i'm like that we need some more now yeah yeah they're kind of that basic that they're actually quite a nice easy thing to have nothing was going on too much yeah you know um i think we had some pre-prechauns on the side just just to change things up but yeah really like the weed there was so good me obviously i could have had oh and before we left i'd like remnants like maybe a split swerve of um of the super silver that i bought from the from the um the third place nice wall parts of coffee shop but i was going to the airport so wall parts of shop found found not actually all-in-all boy having a good good old blazer's like mate i'm just this is a good shit i can't take this with me so do you want it and it actually came in and just said yeah you know we bought it the other day well sort of stuff so just to put it with ease you know yeah yeah this is so weird yeah it's like and i said you i've got a grinder if you want it so i can't take that even at a nice bulldog grinder but i'm not washing that out and everything mate you know i can't so uh yeah offered him that he didn't want it so i left that on top of the bin for someone else if they wanted to take that just just you know you never know just try to hide on me yeah someone might need a grinder but it's a weird conversation to bring up so yeah like you want a grinder mate so yeah yeah just left on top of the bin but yeah really yeah super good weed definitely like that bit of a set i'd go for again in terms of like just having something cheeky haze and maybe buy a little bit of a strong one for the evening or something if you want to go walk or something later on you could have a slight strong one because you know you've got your bed that's not to go to but i think the choices were pretty much bang on i think most of them were maybe like three four scales up from the bottom nothing kind of like too too light but definitely not too heavy and it just kept it kept everything working kept the patient going there was no intimidation points there was no points where you're like if i can question a reality no it was and and you can still have a beer with it as well so it was just the right sort of um so if you go to Amsterdam soon get yourself a little bit hazed just something cheeky a couple of steps up you know Hawaiian haze was beautiful Hawaiian haze that was the one one yeah one of the good ones yeah super silver and just a silver but they're all really good but it's actually not too dissimilar it's weird not too dissimilar the potato for the rest of the day in good you know obviously some days you've got to you've got to sacrifice for the park for the for the great good mate you know yeah yeah it's funny saying that because like yeah sometimes like you know we'll catch you uh or whatever you want to be editing mate and i can hear like when you're like just little little movements of a rizzler you know and i can say that's one yeah then later on you can just it's like that too you know it's quiet but when i'm editing you're there's a way for him it's like well he isn't talking so what is it? it's not grinding like something yeah it's like normally i think normally you grind it early beforehand i think you've already got your set mate it's normally just a little twist you know just to start up your maybe watching stuff i've been just started watching an animation called jujitsu kai san oh yeah i want to watch that one it's on crunchy roll it's like an they have all their kind of animations on there and everything nice and Ashley's been watching it for a while and then she i think there's a new season coming out soon so we're watching the first first season and it's pretty cool it's it's very um yeah it's very but after after a smoke maze beautiful it's perfect it's perfect show for it no it's a cartoon so it's easy but it's also got some kind of intricacies cool characters that kind of make you there's an old boy with volcano heads or things one of like the cursed it's a curse or something yeah it's like there's demons and stuff like that but it's not too scary you know it's not gonna make you think too much like that um but because it's japanese they like to kind of break down the superpowers they'll even explain you know they're really scientifically breakdown what the superpowers are and you know you've had a you know a good um good fatigue or something your brain likes that sort of stuff yeah yeah great good information down yeah yeah yeah and and you kind of go oh get it i get it so yeah it's it's worth a watch mate what's that called again jujitsu kai san it's just a kind of yeah it's got like um you're sitting in manga comics as well you might even seen it if you've been for a bookshop you might you might recognize my part yeah yeah okay uh but it's definitely worth a go it's just a nice yeah nice simple anime watch you know yeah nice i have a little little key power for that i'll go back to a little cheeky amson amson story so we're into this um this pub called golem and it's famous it's famous amson am because it has over like let's say 150 beers to teach from a lot of mirin bottles are so a lot of room bottles so they can kind of keep them a lot you know a lot longer in the amount but uh loads of beers really good beers and i was at the bar talking to this old boy and he was starting to start to roll and we're talking about rolling and what papers we use because normally i have i've just been on the risler bamboot at the moment nice yeah like that is that the packet is like a more of a beigey sandy color and it's like a couple of the dots of yes good good one may i like really good paper i mean they're similar to a raw you know i still like a raw man and they're close to like the raw hemp ones or whatever they're good ones yeah so um but i was using ocbe hemp's nice over there and they were really good mate they're really good like i i didn't expect to be in a long time you know that was like my first you know when i was a teenage yeah you're getting into it i you know you're getting all kind of uh oh so it's going to be blue so i exactly mate so i had some hemp hemp and uh some hemp um roach as well so it's a nice wcbe and he was rolling something else i was asking him about how they roll and that sort of stuff and he goes well i've only got these but you know i wanted to make a big one you know i'll make a big one this at any other night you start talking start making his joint on the bar and i like and i can throw some in mate if you want me to throw some in you know i've got some nice wine hey is that a moment may i can throw a little bit in there for you know so yeah let's collaborate or something like that so you know it's a big like it's really big like elk plan um joint and went out of front out of good smoke with him out of good beers telling me about the herring fish that we should be eating and all that sort of stuff but was the uh local mate yeah he was a local yeah yeah but it was it was it was not it was a big it was a big old joint mate you know i mean like super super you know not truly obviously in that big but it's a nice big giant it's a sort of one you know before it was before it blossomed that's kind of like yeah the size of it yeah it was really cool really cool but that sounds that sounds cool man i bet that was a good uh good little time and good conversation going down this like little alleyway that like the sun was hitting it perfectly you know like from both sides there was shop owners outside having a glass of wine themselves you know it's a really cool little setup really you know um after that we got some more ice cream as well you know that was a time it was a perfect time had a good beer good smoke and it's like let's find a let's find another ice cream so yeah it was a what do i like there when you beautiful that's awesome beautiful and that's never happened to me yep normally comic downs a bit of a cloudy if you're lucky it's adjusted just a bit of a cloudy place normally it's a little bit rainy um but yeah to have some nice weathering down that's lovely mate oh mate it was just like sitting outside the whole time you know and even our sunday the sunday was such a good day we were there until we seven o'clock in evening so we so sorry our monday so when we left we still had a whole day yeah we had a rock saxophone but we didn't have a lot in them so it wasn't a big deal whole nice you still enjoy the full full day there yeah had a whole day had a smoke in the morning went to ball dog bar had a breakfast had a smoke had a beer and so you can that's a good thing as well you do our places where you can do the whole shebang i'm like you know i know there's rules that you're basically drinking some places smoking other places and you know yeah it's nice when you get those like the downstairs is like the cafe and the upstairs is attached to the pub or yeah i've been in a few of those places and they're nice because you can you know if yeah it just makes it work for everyone that those places make i get a big old window to look outside and do some people people gaze in or just enjoying the atmosphere being part of it as well if you want yeah that's what we were doing most of the time just find a little cheeky little table set up outside somewhere and just people watch oh yeah you get you get everyone yeah everyone you do get everyone yeah we saw one old boy pushing a trolley down the street like you know i say a fifth year old bloke obviously mentally ill or whatever you know whatever you know whatever you know whatever yeah it's not on that yeah it's not on that yeah it's not on that yeah it's not on that yeah i mean it's not on that street you know you just you see that yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah that's absolutely yeah that is Amsterdam yeah but you also see like the the proper like six foot five Dutch like male animal models just knocking about you know like there'll be a you know proper immaculate suit like chisel like the best posture of all time yeah just walking through or riding through looking immaculate and you'll just have the hustle of bustle at the locals you know doing their thing going to work you know all the tourists go into you know the tourist industry going to work all the all the locals on their bikes and you can tell the difference between the locals and they're not locals you know and how fast they're going in control compared to everyone else is a little thing to watch me it's a good little network around there it is it's just got such a good vibe like i'm like i said i'm definitely gonna be booking another one because it was just i've done it so many times but a lot of times i've done it i'm there on tour of a bunch of football ads you know i mean so i always be getting my smoking but it's not the same kind of um i mean on a Sunday you might be like a few of you might be you know just splinter off and find yourself a little set up you know me and i've done it you know i'm one of the tours so you can do it right most of the time you are kind of just you have your english breakfast and you're back on it again yeah it's that sort of that sort of deal so this time we just it was just it was nice having that really easy vibe that there wasn't anything we were going to do because we've already done so many of the touristy things anyway yeah we actually together the last time we went so we've already we've already done all the boats, Heineken you know all that stuff. All the bits you don't want to kind of not do.
Yeah and Frank's house you know vang goss museum the national museum we don't like we've done so this time you didn't really need to you didn't need to do it yeah so there was really nothing telling us what we actually had to do but it was it was it was perfection you can't be all the day that's nice maybe yeah that was kind of uh similar to the last time me and uh Charlie went and uh we didn't really need to do too much we just kind of enjoyed the time there and just you know make sure we had some nice food and just went to the nice spots and just it just enjoyed us or something and it's really nice when you do that you know no sense of rashing around kind of be on your own time and also you don't you don't have an individual agenda either you know completely you'll say you know what would you want to do well we can go get some food you hungry yet you know because anyone can it will do what gets a food now and it's like well no one's really gonna say like how do we get food now because there's no yeah unless you're not hungry you're yeah there's no power dynamic where somebody's trying to get something to happen it's like well yeah should we go to another pub and then maybe i'll finish this this read and we can see if there's somewhere else i can get some or what you find the next part yeah you don't have to kind of like worry too much about exactly and then if you see you know a shop with shitty magnets in it then you can just pop it in kind of like some some random magnets it's almost i feel like half of that's almost it you know you've got you're a gender of all right yeah let's go get some let's go get some food you're hungry yeah it's lunch time let's get some food and uh you don't really know you might not know where you want to go because you just open for anything so you just go for a stroll and oh yeah let's pop in here food but you might see the sheet magnet spot on the way or another cafe and you just out just out quick nosey and then maybe you've got some food or whatever and then before you know that you're in a grocery store getting fresh orange juice or something yeah they're talking milkshake or something yeah and then yeah you're on to the next spot and it's nice like that because you was finding these little nooks and nooks and crannies and that make i like it it calls as well make so many you're like is that an actual car or is that you know like a a little mobility sort of style scooter with a car shell on it or you know there's all these cars that make a smart car look big and you get someone out there in a fucking big american truck out there of someone as well and you get it all because so they can get all these different vehicles European american whatnot so it's different way of buying configurations of moped and shit yeah super weird bike configurations a lot with the um the basket in the front or whatever but like you know to take your dogs around with your kids around yeah i don't really trust those things make they're a bit dodgy and you got to know what you're doing mate yeah i'd want two wheels in front you know i mean some of them were just like literally a bike with a big bar yeah it's all like a big it's almost like a meter in front of you or a meter in front of you or a meter in front of you or a meter in front where you're you're making the basket or whatever the fuck yeah yeah yeah but i don't trust those your legs got to go out and save it all if you make a big fucker you're gonna have to keep that you're gonna have to keep that you're gonna have to keep that even faster yeah yeah you're gonna crash you might hit your front wheel and that's your buffer that's it yeah yeah exactly yeah no not your goods or whatever you're parading around yeah yeah but i said you wouldn't be able to get away with one of those in england at Oxford or London or whatever it just be mowed down there's no there's not real room for that shit no you know it's tri-cost something but not not one of those guys ah and it's like you don't even really have to spend that much money if you do it right yes no you know it's not it's a bit cheaper obviously some of the things are a little bit more expensive but you just pick and choose and make you know you you set yourself whatever you do or don't want to spend and yeah pretty cheap yeah 45 minutes in the air fucking like you said you get there you get there you get there at the nine ten o'clock and you've got your whole fucking it's not even part of the worry of the day it's not like you're doing a you know you're at the airport longer than you're out of the fucking fight yeah too right yeah yeah i think we were taxiing longer than the flight i think we taxi about half an hour before and half an hour afterwards because they landed too early that to land at a different part of the runway it was taxiing up and then taxi back around sort of thing yeah but taxi was probably like half an hour normally it isn't like that but they i think they were just on a head of schedules and i just rather just spinning it around in the airbar for now and they just just landed it yeah it's a pretty cheeky look like mate it was pretty pretty fairways went for this year as well yeah from Heathrow yeah thermal advice normally it's luton each jet from luton that's my normal normal you see it's a good luton sometimes you know i mean it's a bit normally a bit bit cheaper oh it's definitely cheaper this one was just it was a package with the hotel it wasn't a bad sort of price all in so was it pretty much in the city the hotel last 50 minutes outside but at a time stop oh perfect outside the hotel which took you all the way to down square in 50 minutes yes awesome so it's perfect yeah that's not a problem at all that's nice and i do that again because you've got like the greenery you've got like some more local sort of shit around you it does feel it feels easier yeah no it's probably it's nice stepping straight into it yeah if you're in a hostel when you step straight out and you're fucking back into amazon as jesus christ if you go yeah it's if you've got part round you in space around you it's nice nice we're now so nice we're in absent amazon should we can all start and end to the days you know you can kind of enjoy that little ride yeah that definitely is really nice on the outside of the city and around Amsterdam yeah that's a wicked thing yeah good yeah good little trip mate you were saying that you had a little bit of not too long yeah yeah not too long ago last week mate good long friend will tomsum come around here one of the skate homies come around he was uh having a little trip out to Canada go to Vancouver we had to do some uh do a couple of little tours and gave me a message and say said he's you know what it's in to have a little Canadian trip and uh told me his plans and said what about meeting up come popping down here for a for a good long weekend sort of that for four nights or whatever fuck yeah so picked him up from the airport on uh on last Thursday and uh gave in the old locals local show about mate it was was really good fun nice what'd you go up to you get a good food or yeah well we got some uh good local food talking to the bagel place mate of course mate of course mate of course i'd expect the same retreat there's of course i'd be want to go straight to that bagel place demanded a bagel nice yes we actually took the bagel out it was a lot but busy it was you know prime summer tourism at the moment but um you know sometimes it's nice at a there is a little rooftop there if it's not quite nice to eat on the rooftop there good views but took into one of the houses where we first stayed at there's a little uh little viewpoint at the top kind of like overlooks the whole uh whole town stunning view mates that little sit down little munch on the old rocky mountain bagels and uh yes that started one of the days of that can't remember if that was the first one or the you know second or third but uh that was a good one there did uh we got a nice little creek canyon sort of thing called jira creek but uh it's kind of you'd have seen them throughout my pictures throughout the time being here it's kind of like canyon where some little tight walls to go through and it opens up and uh really cool uh you know so being i think being a skateboarder or maybe just me it's kind of a bit of a spot where you can kind of kind of a step in stone so again you know i mean sometimes to save yourself from getting a work worth it sometimes not and it's just got that fun little uh walking through and what's around the corner element yeah nice so that was really cool did some nice drives mate took into some of the big lakes around here not like the great lakes or anything but the other some uh really high up mountain lakes we got around here like the touching the mountains you get the reflections and see if it's some stones in a mate having some nice typical i'd say like proper classic canadian dirt roads and stuff like that and saw some rocky mountain sheep and uh on the last day mate went for a little my girlfriend's got some uh paddleboards and a kayak so all three of us there's a beach around the back of my house that goes on to a huge river we had some nice big big lunch sandwiches which we took on the river to eat on the paddleboards beautiful lovely fucking day fought against the the river oh you know for a bit half hour to an hour and just cruised it back just let it drag us all the way back to the beach no that's a good idea that's a big mountain views mate i've got a cliff actually so uh when we're always here at curcentum you might see a bear in the maknim you know my mate we get there is in the garden you know he see one when he was on his little tour he did a tour from vancouver got in a bus we went to jasper whistler bam for all these places it's a mountain bike in some like little mountain climbing and stuff like that so really good time but um obviously it's the locals time now but yeah he saw a bear on that trip so that was nice we didn't see anyone was driving around just because that's the mountain so nice and then mate so just after we were saying did you see a bear and he said yeah i see one but unfortunately we didn't see much wildlife here except for the thing he's we're literally made just after that picture there we see a bear the other side of the river wow as you're paddleboarding as literally five minutes afterwards so uh that's awesome perfect little end of that was a wicked last day and uh swealer experience there yeah that landscape mate that was perfect you just sitting on the paddleboards beautiful little rippling river in front of you nothing too crazy you're mounting mountain above that and a bit a little bear coming through the just adding a little bit of a big bear probably a decent medium decent sized bear you know you wouldn't want to run into it no that was like a perfect little because it's you know it made a very slingshot i could hit that river right now you know so that is that close you know what you see my backyard there's just some bushes in the head and then it's that river if you go that that round this part like it's in my street the only way to get to that is that river so that's awesome mate that's wicked you can't buy that sort of shit exactly you know it's all makes you know any time someone's come and come down here from from England or whatever or a different country and they come to our our our place where we live it's always refreshing to re-remind myself how how nice the landscape is around here so sometimes it's nice to have those refreshes as well yeah but exactly i bet you felt just as good for you that is a different him obviously yeah hard to play to check it's just where i live so shit i live here yeah you know sometimes you get caught up in the day life but you know been here for four years and a lot of the time i've done you know i've always got eyes on the mountains and the views but you know things do get a little toned down you get a bit numb to things you but yeah it was great and obviously you may have to take him down the old shooting range didn't i of course mate you remember of course new member well i had that you know he's had the chance to shoot a shotgun before in England a clay pigeon sort of play so he's done that before but not anything else so it was a wicked experience took him took him down the club mate took him took a 22 and took the old criss vector down and uh and a whale of a time mate had a good old good old time he was enjoying it he was hitting all the whole all the hundred yard targets out there with the crissback to making them fly off and uh getting a good little gun experience there and those we have not like a RSO they're like a range safety officer and obviously he's keeping a good eye on uh me and world there because obviously i'm a new member and he's obviously will being a bit more of a unexperienced you know coming from a different country so he's doing his little safety safety guy job but he was loving it he was enjoying that world was having his experience obviously he was a good gun fanatic and at the end of it he was like you know he had a sharp pistol before and we were always like oh no no no he's like well let's go shoot some of my pistol of my pistol i'll have her and he took us to the pistol range which has got loads and loads of different uh metal targets and he set them up with about 22 magazines full of bullets and got him to shoot them all off and uh let me have a little go as well mate so an extra little token of the day that's awesome you know when someone happens coming down the skate park and teaching someone then they learn and you're getting the bows as well you know he was getting the bows off of sharing his sharing his uh his guns what that made the experience even better so if i see him again i'll be like nice one mate that was really cool yeah that'd be nice he was cool again big up jen yeah big up jen but yeah i'm sure he would next time you see him and you say that that would make that a baking blow again because that was a really you know no he'd put the cherry on top of the day exact two cherries mate a couple of cherries cherry cherry on my day cherry on my day cherry on my day yeah yeah that's cool that's really nice that's really cool you know one day whenever you get yourself down it will be doing the same thing you know what i mean we'll be shooting some guns be uh diving right in there mate that's it as long as i can see can you smack the car as well you're shooting or not so about the shooting range it's a private club we have a lot of club houses like like a trailer shipping container it's got characters there and every gun range has an indoor when i say indoor it's like a shed cabin it's got gravel floor roof windows and every one of them has tables and they got a wood burner inside and then the outside is all roofed so you can shoot it in the rain but obviously it's open all year round while we got the fucking snow and that but yeah you can smoke cigarettes and cigars the gay old boy who gave gave us out all was you know one of those crueker army dangerous bad motherfucker type you know you do what he says type of old boys really cool he was walking us around with us agar in his mouth mate because you smoke if you want to smoke inside you smoke inside if you don't like it get out you know sorry this is what we do here and uh you know i don't i don't really smoke other than we which is a no-no-one site for sure understandably but um quite yeah it looks pretty it looked like i needed to run down the storm by myself so i'm gonna get cigars mate mate you got to you got it it's perfect yeah go and shoot them with a big old fat thing you can suck on stick it they'll just leave it in there burning burning your eyes up and you're facing yeah i just need to get the one eye yeah but yeah i'd love you know that's sort of look what you want to go for but that's good old cigar you got to experience me yeah yeah that's perfect nice yeah you can do that mate that's cool that's really cool and then like no no beer on site but a lot of the guys they'll drive just outside the fence which is still our because we've still got a long driveway out here in the woods mate you can go out there when you're finished and some of the guys as soon as they're all finished they'll just you just go outside the gate with your track pull your tailgate down they'll have some beers there mate that's perfect yeah a couple of little tins you know you could probably sneak a couple pack of crisps there mate nice yeah like i said a package of bag of chips and yeah and a fat sausage that would be even nicer a fat sausage have a good old time though yeah it sounds like a nice lifestyle it sounds like a really cool thing to be into you know you're outdoors fundamentally you're outdoors first you know you're that's that's number one then you're going some cool guns yeah two you're being safe you know you're being disciplined so you're on the range you've got some rules yeah which is needed you know and also you meet other people you know social scene other like minded individuals potentially yeah that's really yeah it's a really cool really cool sound yeah and you know on the flip side as well obviously we're always only here for four days which was a really nice time but you know if he was here for longer i would have taken him out and the bush as well where the other people go shooting it's a little bit different could be a little bit more alarming at times that you know you're in charge of your own ship you're not in charge of people but you know most of the time it's all in good faith and everyone's having good time we obviously can find your own spot as well but that's another another bit of fun you know you kind of you've got that bit more uh you've got to use a bit more self-control sometimes but obviously you can put yourself in the environment we can have a little bit more fun as well you know but you got to find the right spot to do that you can have a way out of the time and can there as well no no that's yeah i mean seriously over there may i've been first in line but people should be it's like i said being outside you can do that anywhere but you know getting yourself active and doing something even if it's just going camping and all that sort of stuff that's a cool thing to do going hiking you know it's a cool just get yourself out there yeah you know you can you know what everyone can rot and everyone you know can do that when you don't go out and you kind of sipping up and you just stay in the same place the whole time you know it can happen easily yeah yeah sure but you know just to go for a little walk and you know any of that sort of even i think it was um might be in the winter where i sent you a shot of me kind of all i was having a split from a field all kind of uh macked out to the gills and what so we can get here but it made it easy it made it easy to do it you know it's like well i'm outside and it's cool it's nice got a nice coat one i'm fucking fine yeah got some good got some good tinglins on at the time as a palmate so everything was fine you got some time you got like right we'll take a nice little drive you know and get out of some cool you know well maybe not just walk straight from the crib yeah on yourself a nice little spot mate that you can just soak in yeah it's nice it's good for you it's really it's really good for everyone to be trying to be out with the in the countryside we went out one you know i got that beach we went out there one evening before we went on a paddle because it's so close it's a nice little evening shell spot i got my binoculars mate got a nice little coat of binoculars and we sat on a big old tree that got you know there's been washed up on the beach i've fallen over on the beach big root plate sat on there mate and a little smoke and there's a offspring nest uh pretty much in the river there's another fallen tree there with big old nest on there and there's like two or three ospreys there some cool birds of pram and just sat there with the binoculars mate there's evening sunshine it was nice and light so about nine tenish we just sat there and just had a good old chill and just soaked all in mate and that was that was pretty sweet as well just like what a nice little spot it's around you know that sort of you and just like you say just just just enjoying it that's it mate that's that's perfect that's just a lovely uh yeah it's a lovely image you know when you got in your head and it's like if you actually get to that and you can't go and get that everyone can get that sort of shit you know you might not have ospreys in front of you mate but wherever you are yeah appreciate a robin you know don't worry about it it's all right yeah exactly you might see a little hawk somewhere you might actually might see anything you know it's really with them mate with a nice little chat nice
