14: BlacKkKlansman and the MIFF

from Beef Station: A Film Podcast · host Andrew & Oscar

This week, your two remarkably Caucasian beefbois Oscar and Andrew (the other, other white meats) don their underqualification helmets to journey into Spike Lee's brilliant BlacKkKlansman (2018). Andrew also relays what he saw at the Melbourne Interstellar Film Festival last month when he got sucked into the gravitational field of a way cooler city. On the surface mere minutes passed; but up on Beef Station, Oscar was waiting long enough to figure out how to hack into Alec Baldwin's twitter and turn down a role in the new Joker movie. Coincidentally that also only took a few minutes because the password was "let me state for the record that I have NOT been hired to play a role in Todd Phillips' Joker as some Donald Trump manque".
