This Ramaḍān intensive endeavours to present an overview of Imām Mālik’s life and his Muwaṭṭa, including a detailed study of the first few āḥadīth from it. Session taught on: 19th April 2022 This session covers the following discussions: - The linguistic meaning of ‘aṣr - The meaning of والشمس - The different definitions of حجرتها - The size of the حجرة - The meaning of قبل ان تظهر - Ḥadīth supporting Imām Mālik’s view that ‘aṣr should be prayed early Kindly note: Any ijāzāt issued in this course is strictly issued only to students who attended the live session and does not extend to those reviewing the recordings.
