from Growth Instigators Hotline · host Aaron Havens

Growth Instigators Hotline970.306.6432This is what it takes to ride a bike without hands…Thank you for calling GIH where we instigate growth one call at a time where we utilize antiquated technology to deliver 3-minute leadership lessons every week day!  This is message #153 and I am Aaron Havens.I had probably the coolest bike in my small south eastern Colorado town.  Sorry Dude.  Mine was better.I mean in the mid/late 80’s if you had a Mongoose bike… that was pretty awesome!  And if that bike happened to bike all chrome with blue tires and blue handle bar grips and a blue seat… WITH peg extensions to do some sick tricks… then yeah!  I had the coolest bike.  I mean it was sturdy and ready for tricks and jumps and really whatever I could throw at it.I learned what it took to ride a bike without hands.  In fact I learned what it took to ride a bike backwards while sitting on the handle bars looking backwards.  It took the same thing that doing a back flip out of the swing on the swing set which was the same thing it took to ask Cassie out.  BOLD COMMITMENT.If half way letting go of the handle bars I would not commit it would be a wreck for sure.  And, if half way across the dance floor I would chicken out and not commit, then no girl of my dreams.  Haha.  Get it?  Where are you being a chicken?  Where are you scared to commit?  And I mean really commit.  BOLD COMMITMENT.  The kind where if it doesn’t work out you might crash!Peter F Drucker has a great quote.  He said “Unless commitment is made, there are only promises and hopes; but no plans”. To put it another way… I can talk a big game, have high hopes, wish for the best.  However my friends, without commitment is made, we have no plans.  Where in your life are you making a commitment and where in your life is BOLD COMMITMENT quite possibly the missing ingredient? Thanks for calling in today.  Tune in tomorrow for a fresh new topic.  At the sound of the beep could I be the first person to here where you know you need to commit and you’ve been dragging your feet?  Or, I’d love to hear where you have already committed.  How is that working out for you?https://growthinstigators.com/
