Before pursuing his career in student journalism, Johari came to Citrus as an fine art major. Now in his third year as part of student publications, he talks about his early years at Citrus, what got him into journalism, his travels around the world and his plans for the future. We also interviewed our social media manager for the summer, former Logos staff writer Destiney Dominguez. In addition to writing for Logos, Dominguez also served as the Inter-Club Council Vice President for Citrus College. She talks about her current internship with the L.A. Galaxy soccer team, what she learned as part of the Logos staff and answers some vital questions about what characters from “The Office” we would be.     Welcome to the first episode of the Logos Magazine summer podcast “15 Minutes With You” A weekly podcast that is all about sharing stories of the community that makes up Citrus College. Every week we will be interviewing current and former students as well as any faculty, professors and administrators that want to be on. There is no prerequisite or requirement to be on, and no topic or agenda for each episode. Just stop by VA236 Thursday afternoons to be a guest. This week we interview former Citrus student and local trivia host Justin Mora. Mora graduated Citrus in 2008 and after graduating from University of La Verne in 2010, moved to New York, before he eventually moved back to Southern California in 2015 and created the “craft trivia” company Just Trivia. "Y pues mi sinceridad me autoriza, tengo derecho a afirmar que la contraleyenda española, la leyenda negra, divulgada por esa asquerosa prensa amarilla, mancha e ignominia de la civilización en los Estados Unidos, es mil veces más embustera que la leyenda dorada. Esta, cuando menos, arraiga en la tradición y en la historia; la disculpan y fundamentan nuestras increíbles hazañas de otros tiempos; por el contrario, la leyenda negra falsea nuestro carácter, ignora nuestra psicología, y reemplaza nuestra historia contemporánea con una novela, género Ponson du Terrail, con minas y contraminas, que no merece ni los honores del análisis. El tal novelón nos ha perjudicado, pues por absurda que sea la calumnia, siempre habrá quien la crea y propale; pero nada hubiese podido la calumnia contra nosotros, si nuestros yerros no colaborasen con nuestros calumniadores para llevarnos al abismo. El día en que la historia se escriba imparcialmente; cuando acaben de despojarnos y el denigrarnos no tenga objeto alguno, reconocerá el mundo que si hemos sido colonizadores inhábiles, no hemos sido ni más crueles ni tan rapaces como esos anglosajones, cuyo ejemplo, propuesto ahora a las naciones mediterráneas, puede enseñarnos la adquisividad y el instinto de apropiación, pero no la lealtad y la humanidad" (Emilia Pardo Bazán, "La España de ayer y la de hoy: la muerte de una leyenda", conferencia dada el 18 de abril de 1899 en la «Sociedad de Conferencias de París»).
