Some of today's top storiesWe begin with breaking news from overnight.Details are still at this time... but we have new pictures of a violent, rollover crash in northeast Bakersfield.One person was sent to the hospital and a classic car was damaged following a multi-vehicle crash in Central Bakersfield. It happened yesteray morning at the intersection of California and Chester Avenues. Bakersfield Police say a truck ran a red light and crashed into three other cars, leaving one person hospitalized. The driver was taken into custodyKSCO is sharing these photos.You can see the person... wearing a black Chicago Bulls hoodie... holding the gun.This happened at Derrick's Liquor on Niles Street.KCSO says a second person was involved in the robbery, but did not provide a description or release images.If you know anything about this case... you're urged to call the sheriff's office.There are new developments in the homicide of a 14-year-old boy.The shooting happened last month at a home on Provincetown Avenue in southwest Bakersfield.Court documents say on a Friday night... a 33-year-old man picked up six teens around midnight without their parents knowledge.The documents also say twice within a week, a pistol owned by the man accidentally fired while teens played with it.The first time, no one was hit.But during the second time, the teen holding the gun suffered a wound to his hand, and the bullet entered the neck of Jayden Jackson.Jackson died.Making headlines around town. The City of McFarland is the latest municipality to join the list of cash-strapped cities in Kern County opening their doors to commercial cannabis. 17's Mikhala Armstrong reports, the move is not without controversy.
