Some of today's top storiesInvetigators this mornig are trying to figure out what caused a train to catch fire in downtown Bakerwfield.Crews raced to this scene near Mechanics Bank Arena Saturday night.Investigators say when they arrived... the conductor had no idea the train was on fire.It was found stopped under a bridge of Highway 99... and had to be moved to another location before fire crews could work on containment.Police say the blazed caused half a million dollars in damages No injuries were reportedAnd it's on to Michigan -- with the South Carolina primary in the rearview mirror... Nikki Haley is focused on the Great Lakes State.The former U-N ambassador is vowing to stay in the race -- despite losing in her home state to former president Donald Trump.But Haley's fight will become only more difficult as a major donor network pulls its support.Meanwhile, the upcoming primaries will test president Biden's ability to navigate dissent within his own party over his response to Israel's war with Hamas.NBC's Alice Barr has the latest from Capitol HillGovernor Gavin Newsom had some strong words for Trump... following his South Carolina primary win. Newsom labeled Trump as - quote - "weakness masquerading as strength" during an interview on "Meet the Press" yesterday. The governor would go on to say that the former president was - quote - "unhinged" and is a weaker candidate than four years ago. A Trump spokesperson said of the interview, that quote, "Gavin is just mad he hasn't found a way to kick crooked Joe Biden off the ticket so he can run."And Biden is expected to meet with four top congressional leaders at the White House tomorrow...The top four leaders include house speaker Mike Johnson, senate majority leader Chuck Schumer, house minority leader Hakeem Jeffries and senate minority leader Mitch McConnell.The White House says Biden will press lawmakers on passing an emergency aid package for Ukraine, Israel and the Indo-Pacific...The $95 billion dollar national security package cleared the senate on a 70 to 29 vote earlier this month -But Speaker Johnson has been resistant to put up the aid bill for a vote in the house.President Biden will also push for legislation to avert a looming government shutdown ahead of next month.
