18 - Cyborg Dan

from What Was That Called Again? · host What Was That Called Again?

Welcome to episode 18 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this episode, we are punching and kicking our way into the martial arts genre. Will makes a bold declaration that in this episode he will get all three films either correct or incorrect. He also thinks he has seen one of these but the images he has in his head from what he believes to be this film could be from literally any martial arts film from the 70s, so it’s hard to say if he has seen any of these or not. The creative segment takes up about an entire third of this week’s episode. It was very late/early when this was recorded, and usually that makes for interesting segments. I’m not saying it’s good, but I am saying it’s interesting. Thomas also talks about some martial arts buddy cop idea he had once, which is something more of a title than an actual idea, but we were able to borrow from it for this episode. The creative segment kind of needed all of the support it could get, to be honest. But I still think we’ve done worse. Enjoy. Featured movies: RIKI-OH: THE STORY OF RICKY DIRTY HO FIVE FINGERS OF DEATH
