Greg Cawley is a yoga teacher based in Queensland Australia. After a midlife crisis as a result of the GFC and the then failure of his marriage, Greg decided (in his 50s) to retrain as a yoga teacher after experience the changes in his life once he discovered yoga. Greg’s business “BrikMan Yoga” offers Men Only Classes with the slogan: ‘No Sheilas. No Lycra. Just Blokes.’ Greg is also an author and has just published his first book “Real men Do Downward Dog”. Greg is passionate about yoga and its amazing benefits for men of all ages. In his own words: "Men, we hit our 40s. Life pressures are building up and weighing us down Trying to balance family needs, career and jobs, financial pressure, time pressure, when to find time to fit in exercise and the inevitable physical decline. How do we cope? Most of us don’t! We turn to alcohol, drugs, sex, distractions like Netflix. These are just coping strategies but not great ones. Relationships suffer or fail, it’s all too much. How do we deal with this? I am going to suggest that yoga may just be the answer I want to talk to you about that!" Greg's top 3 tips: 1. Shit happens to us all, expect it.
