Last Sunday was one of my favorite days of this year. I called it, “Soccer Sunday”. The Women’s World Cup Final was great.  I thought we played very well and controlled the game. The use of VAR for the PK was perfect in my opinion. That is the kind of call it was meant to catch. The referee didn’t have a good angle to see the contact. As soon as she saw it on the replay she was able to make the decision. I was happy that we created a good from open play as well. The second goal put the game out of reach and was a fair result.
