Good morning. Maine. I'm DJ Huzz. Folks, high pressure is sliding offshore. and that changes everything. It's acting like a vacuum cleaner, pulling warm, moist air straight up from the south. That warmth is hitting our cold ground and deep snowpack right now. The result? Patchy fog is developing overnight. If you're driving late, you'll want to keep that in mind. In the next 24 hours. Here's the good news. That fog burns off Saturday morning for a mostly sunny day. Highs climb into the upper 40s. It's a brief taste of spring. but don't get used to it. A sharp cold front slams through Sunday morning. This brings a period of snow between 7 and 11 A.M. Accumulations look light. Expect a coating to an inch near the coast. Up to two inches is possible inland. The bigger story is the Arctic air behind the front. Temperatures crash Sunday afternoon. We start in the 30s. We end the day in the 20s. Sunday night turns brutal. Providence drops to 12 degrees. The Bay Area bottoms out at 14. Winds gust to 20 miles an hour. That creates wind chills near zero. Monday stays frigid under mostly sunny skies. Highs only reach 27 degrees. Then the pattern shifts. We track a series of disturbances for the work week. Tuesday brings a chance of snow showers. Highs rebound to 41 degrees. Rain arrives Wednesday and Thursday. Highs reach the mid 40s. It looks like a raw, wet stretch. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. Stay safe, stay prepared. and enjoy the day.
