What's in The Rift is a Cortex Prime Actual Play. Season 2 follows three hapless robots (ChroniCarl, PsychoBot 2000, and Helpis) plus their one human companion (Donny Fink) as they are dragged unwillingly into a murder mystery that may have far-reaching political ramifications. Of course, they can't be bothered with that unless dragged kicking and screaming by their GM back into the story. Episode 8 - The Scene of the Crime Our four courageous heroes return to the scene of a crime. Again. This is literally the same opening from episode 6. They can't help themselves, apparently. A process server has threatened the crew with the expenses of all the destroyed GearX robots as a result of their brush with celebrity. But no worries, as Seuss lets everyone know how they can "leverage" Helpis's body parts for liquidity. The newfound wealth that Helpis possesses turns out to be useless without ClankedIn, and thus they go about trying to rectify this situation. Then, the economy collapses, Two Arms Toneigh becomes a distant threat for ChroniCarl and PB walks disinterestedly through a massive street brawl that her friends are all actively engaged in.
