#2 - Mark Pacey (9 Ironmans & Hawaii Ironman Finisher) - Part A

Welcome back to Inside the Playbook - Episode 2. This format is designed to give an insight into professional athletes, coaches or highly skilled individuals and give viewers an insight into how they operate and what they have experience in their respective sporting careers. In our second episode, I had the opportunity to interview Mark Pacey. Mark is an incredible human who has completed 9 Australian Ironmans in Port Macquarie and has represented Australia in both sprint & long-distance triathlons. In May 2025, Mark will compete in his 10th Australian Ironman to try and become an Ironman Legend on the Port Macquarie course.On top of that, Mark shares his personal story and how he used an extremely tough period for him & his family into an event called the Bloody Long Day that has raised over $420K in 6 years for the Kids Cancer Project. I mean if you’ve looked this far, you can probably tell how special it was to chat in-depth with someone like Mark, who is so open, honest & inspirational about his journey & how he is succeeding in the sport of triathlon whilst juggling multiple things.
