Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Juliana studied both Law and Arts at the Universidade de São Paulo. Over the past year, she has embraced a nomadic lifestyle, journeying across all Brazilian states and aspiring to explore every Latin American country. The prompt was to tell how you got your name, and I thought, pffhhhht, I need 10 seconds: I was almost named Geraldine after my dad, but my mom got her way and I was named after her (and nicknamed from the start). Juliana told the most beautiful story I've ever heard of how she was named by her mother and grandmother and, oh, my eyes welled up and my jaw dropped and I clasped my hands over my heart. I must have her on the podcast, I thought, and said it out loud.
