from Revival Life Church · host Revival Life Church

Day 18 Prayer Point: Praying for the Poor  Scripture Reading: Matthew 25:34-40   Mat 25:34-40 NIV Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. (35) For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, (36) I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ (37) Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? (38) When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? (39) When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ (40) The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ Notes: Pray for the millions of people facing food insecurity that they will eat daily. Ask God  that our heart breaks for those without the basic needs that are needed to live and that we  would be a solution to the problem in our city and world. Pray for THE church of Jesus Christ  and that His people would be a people that embrace, advocate and care for the global poor.  Mat 6:9-13 NASB  “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.  (10)  ‘Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.  (11)  ‘Give us this day our daily bread.  (12)  ‘And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.  (13)  ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.’ The post 21 Days of Payer: Day 18 Praying for the Poor appeared first on Revival Life Church Boca Raton, FL.
