226 Alaina Nadig: The Pursuit of Relentless adventure
from Neff Inspiration · host Neff Inspiration
Alaina had many careers before her introduction to the world of finance. She went from over 300lbs and over $100,000 in debt to a successful financial advisor, podcaster and community leader who is focused on giving people opportunities to create their best life. In Alaina's words: "I am a red seal pastry chef and followed my passion for food to a really dark place. Obesity, addictions, struggles with depression and anxiety… Carpal Tunnel forced a change in careers and thankfully it did. After baking I started in industrial sales which led to operating equipment which led to layoffs and frustrations and the opportunity to become an advisor. Now, I help people learn about money and find huge satisfaction providing education and awareness on how money works and how to live your best life." 3 top tips for my audience: 1. Track your habits 2. Spend time in reflection 3. If it isn’t worth 5x as much money to you, don’t buy it.
