23 - Masterclass with Pearl Shozi: Promos

Another episode, another Masterclass. This time we turn our attention to the frantic world of television promos, those mini promotional videos that get squashed in between the adverts. This episode finds Gino talking to Pearl Shozi, Executive Creative Director at Birthmark Agency, where he gets the lowdown on what it takes to produce those short trailers for all those TV shows. Originally from Durban, Pearl moved to the City of Gold in 2016 to expand on her video production career, starting out as a promo producer and working her way up to her current position of executive creative director. Since arriving in Jozi, she has  worked for Kwese, Fox International and creative agency, Birthmark.  When not churning out promos, Pearl is busy studying for a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) through the IMM Graduate School of Marketing. Yes?
