Kirsten has been working as a Clinical Psychologist for 20 years across the expanse of clinical areas. She loves her job and can’t think of anything more meaningful. She gets to see people connect, feel heard, expand, heal and feel stronger and safer. Dealing with unhealthy patterns with alcohol is one of the many areas that she works in. Every week someone comes into her Practice and bravely shares their private world and together they work to move them forward. Coming out from the shadow of alcohol abuse is one of these exciting areas of growth and recovery. Kirsten lives in Toowoomba with her husband and five boys aged 7 to 21. In addition to being a Clinical Psychologist she is the author of a series of six Psychology books that cover the breadth of clinical areas. These books are called SIGNPOSTS FOR LIVING. Readers say they feel like they hear Kirsten’s voice coming through the books as they are conversational and bite-sized. Kirsten’s passion is putting psychology in the hands of the public. She wants to open the flood gates and take psychology out from behind the professional's door. The six books are called; Control your Consciousness Understanding Myself Mindfulness and State of Flow Understanding Others - Loved Ones to Tricky Ones Parenting Nailing being an Adult She also has two fiction novels and four psychology children’s books coming out this year (2022).
