26. Please…Stop Doing This. You’re Hurting More Than Helping.

i’m sure we have all heard: “someone would wish for your worst day!”, “there someone out there with this type of condition, you don’t have excuses!”, or a very common one: “you think YOU hit it bad? Listen to this…” It is the most confusing thing to me. Because you won’t ever know anyone else’s reality other than your own. NO ONE ELSE’S. Don’t speak on another life or compare yours to someone else’s when what you are going through is by definition for YOU; painful, a struggle, an obstacle, a trauma, an issue, etc. We’ve gotten so use to using this tactic to “motivate” and all its doing is hurting more than anything.
