Bio & Intro
My guest Amy Kersten is actor, writer, editor, producer and director. She spent the last decade developing multiple digital series - including Lady Parts Justice, run by Daily Show creator Lizz Winstead, and three seasons of the award winning digital series HOT MESS. Amy wrote produced and starred in an independent pilot "In Case of Emergency" directed by Soma Helmi and partnership with Third Law films, which is now available on Amazon Prime! Amy worked on various feature films including Sandy Wexler starring Adam Sandler, The Spy Who Dumped Me starring Kate McKinnon, and The Week Of directed by Robert Smigel. Amy starred as an actor in Shanghai in Venus in Fur and 39 Steps. and wrote her first feature length screenplay "A Woman Abroad" about that experience, and recently filmed a scene at the historic Peace Hotel as part of the feature development package.
