This episode is an interesting and enlightening conversation with Neale Donald Walsch, author of the well-known Conversations with God book series. It is such a blessing to talk with him. He shared his story of the sad time in his life when he had a broken neck (in a car accident) and wore a neck brace, was broke, and lived on the streets for a year. And that led up to his lengthy dialog with God that became his first CwG book. He went on to write many more - 9 in the CwG series and another 30 or so. His most recent book is GodTalk in which he shares the message that God, the higher power or Infinite Intelligence, is never not talking with us, although we may not believe that (if we even believe in God) or we may simply choose not to listen. The book explains that God interacts with people in an infinite variety of ways and, for most people, the interactions are not in the form of a dialog. I told Neale that I experience my interactions with God primarily as telepathic conversations. He said he has never used that term to describe it, but God's words simply come into his mind, which is what happens for me as well. Other topics came up in our exchange such as the great awakening, and he said that the awakening of the species requires enough people to awaken to who they truly are. As God informs us, who you truly are is an individuation of the divine. That should give you a very good reason to start paying attention to your interactions with Her. [And in case you're wondering, I know God to be totally balanced in masculine and feminine energies.] Learn more about Neale at NealeDonaldWalsch.com. Learn more about me at RaymondPosch.com, and you can contact me at [email protected]. I found the process to be exciting and exhilarating. The podcasts satiated by curious nature, aided me in meeting and getting to know new people, and discovering new knowledge and information. Sharing is an important part of Indigenous Peoples ways of being and doing. I want to share the experience of discovery of new skills and the feeling of purpose and a reason to be and to wake up each day with podcast listeners. Empathetic Witness wants you to challenge assumptions about Indigenous Peoples. It encourages Indigenous and non-Indigenous persons to embrace true reconciliation as we examine truths, explore reparations, and show up in the world willing to learn and accept the responsibility of reconciliation. Empathetic Witness addresses a whole array of topics encompassing the impact of the creation of residential schools, cultural genocide, the Indian Act, mental health, resilien Collective Evolution with Joe Martino Collective Evolution We explore new and emerging ideas in philosophy, well-being, human potential, consciousness and more as we seek clarity and direction through heavily changing times. Virtually every aspect of our society is crumbling or transitioning – media, technology, consciousness, economies, education, relationships and more. Old ways of looking at and understanding our world are no longer relevant, and new ways encourage us to look more deeply at why our world is the way it is, and what about US creates it to be this way. The questions of who we are, why we are here, and what future we truly want to create, are on the table for us to re-approach. The I Project Immersioneer With the arrival of smartphones and social media, we were told that the world was becoming more connected. But as mental health declines while our digital addictions grow, it's clear that something human has been lost in the shuffle. On The I Project, we dive into the roots of this disconnection and explore new ways of thinking, seeing, and being. The I Project is the podcast of Immersioneer, a sense-making community focused on deepening human dialogue in the digital age. The podcast is hosted by founder Clancey Hilkene.
