L. Feig Knipe retired from a career as a high school counsellor doing educational and career advisement, and personal counselling. She has three Feig sons and two Knipe stepsons, as well as nine (and counting) grandchildren. She comes from a large, close-knit family, and was married to her sweetheart, Bob, until his recent passing. She carries on his legacy of supporting community betterment projects and volunteerism. An active Rotarian and church member, Ms Knipe is blessed with many friendships. She holds a Masters degree and Certificate of Advanced Studies in Counselor Education. A Western New Yorker by birth and choice, she writes from her cottage on the shores of Lake Ontario, the smallest of the Great Lakes in the USA. She loves exploring the globe and meeting interesting friends. Ms Knipe is currently writing about her journey of healing from PTSD caused by sexual assault.
