4 Critical Pillars of Restaurant Marketing Success in 2019

from The Daily Shake · host Phil K. James & Good Milkshake

In the past we used to treat marketing is sort of this one off sort of thing. It was just a way for people to get a message out quickly repeated over and over again and pray to the God of the consumer that people showed up. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on your perspective, the world of marketing is so much more nuanced than it used to be. Long gone are the days when a smaller brand had to dish out enormous sums of money to play with the big boys. Today, with a fighting spirit and an open mind, local advertising is so much more powerful if you want to reach your target market with force and precision. So what does this mean for you? 1. Learn the digital advertising platforms. Even if you’re not somebody who’s going to be running the ads. Learn them. 2. Recognize that you need to be in this for the long-haul. This means knowing and understanding that each piece of content has its place. It will live there forever. 3. Own your platform. Build the assets necessary to penetrate your market accurately & with precision. You need to capture emails everywhere, and not be afraid to annoy the crap out of people with your emails and your ads. 4. Video will always be your friend. Get on that. Love it. Do it daily. Video recall is 3x that of a photo. Now go out and rock it... I’d love for you to join the Milkshake Method Facebook Group if you’d like to learn more about this stuff. It’s a free resource for you to learn more about how to succeed in your restaurant or agency. AND please rate and review if you like this stuff! Facebook.com/Groups/MilkshakeMethod
