Send us a textWith the end of the year and the Holidays season, I wanted to reshare with you an entire podcast episode where I talked about the 4 components of a successful family. This helped add tons of value and experience and I share it with you and hope you find one or two things that can inspire you. If you have a young family or are starting one, this is a great video to watch.A successful family eats at the dinner table-this was essential especially when my sons were younger. No screens, just take some time to bond together and break bread. If this is difficult to do, schedule a monthly or weekly lunch. It’s a great way to connect and catch up without distractions.A successful family does some sort of physical activity together- taking walks, going to the park, even going to a sports event to support your family, coming together for physical activity allows you to stay fit and active. It’s a great way to support one another as you grow.In a successful and loving family, the partners have date nights with one another-This is important and it’s also good for the kids to see a loving relationship. They will know how to treat their partner as they’ll have an example and positive influence from that upbringing. As leaders of the family, having that alone time is a great way to stay connected and direct the family vision.A successful family practices their spirituality together-whatever your faith, practice it. I’ll simply leave you with the words my dear sweet mother told me, the family that prays together, stays together.Hope you find this helpful. Share this with someone who may find this of value.
