#4 - Graceful unveiling: A spiritual awakening in the face of terminal illness

Welcome to conversations with Shaldon Fitzgerald - A Spiritual approach to Therapy. IN THIS FOURTH EPISODE I have invited Dennis to come and tell about his experience with spirituality. Dennis is a dear family member and we've known each other for many years without once having talked about faith or spirituality when we saw each other. For Dennis, the experience of being in the world with a spiritual consciousness is completely new and a consciousness he's been thrown into in a very acute way. Half a year ago on a trip with his wife and two children down through Germany. While driving the family's motor home, Dennis suddenly hears some strange disturbances. All sounds are distorted and sounds almost like computer sounds, is how he later told me about it. And the next thing Dennis remember is waking up in a German hospital with a message from a doctor that's going to change his life as he knew it completely. Through me Dennis got to know Shaldon, and the two have been having weekly conversations for a few months now. I find that Dennis and his story is incredibly relevant, and that his razor sharp new access to the human experience is something we can all learn from and be inspired by.
