4 - Who is the Holy Spirit?

  Who is He? The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity, along with God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son. This 3 part series on Receiving the Holy Spirit will cover, Who is He, Why Do I Need to be Filled with Him, How to Become Filled with Him, and How to Cultivate a Relationship with Him. The Holy Spirit is first introduced in the book of Genesis, where He is revealed as the Spirit of God who hovered over the waters during the creation of the world. He is also described as a person with a will, who can be grieved or resisted. Lastly, He is a promise given by Jesus Himself, who told His disciples that He would send the Spirit to be with them after His departure.
