A new podcast series from Reveal revisits the history of 40 Acres and a Mule: the land grants given to recently freed slaves after the Civil War that were later taken away. 40 Acres and a Lie tells the stories of those freed men and women who lost their land, their present descendants, and the Americans who own and live on the land today.
