It is very easy to get caught up in our emotions where we throw ourselves a pity party and may even move to Pity City for awhile. This episode explores the ways that we can get out of this mindset and back on track. Everyone has their moment where they need to sit in the yuck, but we can't move into it.

Jimmy D Radio Jimmy DeFalco Jr. My name is Jimmy DeFalco and I am a recovering Drug Addict. I grew up in a Wolf of Wall Street type of environment. My father made millions of $$'s all while partying with Hard Core Drugs everyday. This warped my perception of reality and eventually led to me to become a drug addict myself, hooked on Opiates and Xanax. Over the last 2 years I have made one of the most drastic transformations physically, mentally and emotionally. My goal in starting this Podcast and my is to provide, Hope, Inspiration and Applicable tools that anyone, not just addicts, can use to improve their life. ENJOY! Explicit Recovering Meth Kendall Kee A 17 year addiction with alcohol and meth, finally came an end, August 26, 2019. Homelessness. Defeated, broken and hopeless. Add congestive heart failure from the drugs I had consumed is enough to admit I had hit rock bottom. I had a profound spiritual awakening during that moment in a hospital room. I confessed and accepted everything I had done to myself, and to God. This is my journey of recovery, life, and my walk with God. I share my weaknesses, strengths, experiences, failures and triumphs as I navigate down this road. In hopes that you will relate and find inspiration, encouragement, and hope.facebook.com/kyndol.keeTiktok @kendallkeeInstagram @kyn_kee Explicit Recovering Church Girls * Tonia Adleta Join Tonia Adleta as she peels back the layers of impact that organized religion has on the way we see the world. The conversations within Recovering Church Girls* set out to undo the mindf*ck that caused you to internalize the judgments, criticisms, and hatred (often directed our own selves,) that so often comes as a result of growing up in a religious environment. (And spoiler alert: even if you didn't grow up in religion yourself, you've probably been impacted by Main Street, USA.) Find yourself in others' stories and learn how to replace the negative inner critic with love and appreciation for your most authentic self and a healthy respect for each person's spiritual journey. Come home - to yourself, your spirituality, and a supportive community that doesn't require you to check your individuality at the door, where you can finally feel like you belong. Hosted on Acast.
