In 2024, Mike, traveled to West Africa with Orphan Relief and Rescue and was deeply moved by the stories of vulnerable children and communities fighting for safety and freedom. Inspired by both his son’s memory and the hope he witnessed, the family chose to give a legacy gift—establishing the Christopher Freedom Center in memory of their son. In 2025, Mike and his two daughters were able to visit the West Africa to commemorate the building. Today, in his son’s honor, the Christopher Freedom Center stands—a place dedicated to protecting children and empowering the community for generations to come.
