In Chapter 6 Paul starts out encouraging the brethren to bear one another's burdens, including when a brother is stumbling. It is brotherly love and Christ that should compel us to encourage one another—particularly for new believers just trying to get their footing. Paul had travelled through Asia Minor, and when he arrived in Galatia he realized they had already fallen away from the teachings of the Gospel of grace. The Judaizers were a group of Jews who tried to put the Church back under the Law by telling them it was necessary for them to keep the Law of Moses before exercising faith in Jesus for salvation.
